Tikkurila Finngard Uni Primer is a high-quality, water-based primer designed to improve the adhesion and longevity of exterior masonry coatings. It penetrates porous surfaces, strengthens the substrate, and enhances the performance of topcoats like Finngard Opaque or Silicone Allweather.

Surface Suitability

Recommended for:

• Concrete and cement rendering

• Lime-based plasters

Do not use on surfaces previously coated with water-repellent or silicone-based primers without professional assessment.

Technical Specifications

• Exterior use

• Clear, penetrating primer

• Application: brush, roller, or spray

• Touch dry in approx. 1 hour

• Recoatable after 2–4 hours depending on conditions

• Coverage: 2–5m²/litre depending on surface absorption

• Water-based, low VOC (less than 30 g/l)

Usage Guidance

Always apply to a clean, dry surface. Do not apply in temperatures below +5°C. Allow to fully dry before applying any topcoat from the Finngard range.
