Firstly, you will need to prepare your space, its all in the prep peeps!! Clear the area, remove any old wallpaper or loose paint, and ensure the walls are clean and smooth. Fill any cracks or holes with spackling paste and sand them down for a flawless finish.

Measure and cut: Measure the height of your wall and add a few extra inches for trimming. Cut your wallpaper into manageable strips, making sure they align with the pattern if applicable, just cut as you work along your wall.  Depending on the type of wallpaper you're using, apply adhesive to the back of the wallpaper or directly to the wall. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the best results and then start hanging.

Begin at a corner or near a focal point in the room. Align the top of the wallpaper strip with the ceiling or a level line, leaving a small overlap at the top and bottom for trimming later. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles using a wallpaper brush or a clean, damp sponge. You may need to pattern match if your wallpaper has a pattern, make sure each strip aligns perfectly with the previous one. Take your time to match the design seamlessly for a professional look.

Once the first strip is in place, use a sharp utility knife or wallpaper scissors to trim the excess at the top and bottom. Repeat the process with the remaining strips, ensuring they are properly aligned and smoothed out.  After all the strips are up, use a seam roller to press down the seams and edges for a seamless appearance. Wipe away any excess adhesive with a damp sponge.

Step back and admire your beautifully wallpapered walls!
